A Bag Exchange table will be available for guests to contribute a piece and choose another.
We will donate any unclaimed pieces to the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools to benefit the 22,000 students in the local VPS schools.
We are also collecting donations of Personal Care items, School supplies and more to fill the bags for students experiencing housing insecurity and hardship over the summer.
Below we have a list of suggested donations that would make the most impact
Clothing Items
• Warm Accessories: Socks, gloves, hats
• Casual Wear: T-shirts, sweatpants, hoodies (new or gently used)
Personal Care Items
• Feminine Hygiene Products: Pantyliners, menstrual cups
• Body Care: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant
• Oral Care: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss
• Skin Care: Moisturizer, sunscreen, lip balm
• Sanitary Supplies: Baby wipes, tissues
School Supplies
• Notebooks and Journals
• Writing Instruments: Pencils, pens, markers, highlighters
• Art Supplies: Crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks
• Folders and Binders
Miscellaneous
• Snack Packs: Non-perishable snacks like granola bars, fruit cups
• Books: Age-appropriate reading material (K-12)
• Games: Small board games or card games for entertainment
We will also have our cash donation box available with all funds going directly to the Foundation for Vancouver Public schools to help them support our local students
