ARTISTIC LEADER
Salon Owner Charlene Bancel brings education and inspiration from around the world to Halo Designs. She travels to receive advanced education at top schools such as Vidal Sassoon, Bumble & Bumble,Tony & Guy, Goldwell, and Redken 5th Ave. She has received private hands on training from world renowned educators DJ Muldoon and Rebecca Taylor as well as advanced classes with Oribe and R+Co.
During her career she has worked educating hairdressers in and around the Northwest, and has gone on to win national recognition and contests with her work as a session stylist.
Charlene is a Vancouver Native and has worked as a hairdresser for almost 30 years. Her meticulous attention to detail is complemented by her cutting edge creativity which perpetually refreshes and inspires her clientele and staff. A modern-day superwoman, Charlene takes care of her staff, family, and clients exceptionally while still finding for artistic regeneration, innovation and advancement.

MEET ELIZABETH
ADVANCED ARTISTIC DESIGNER
Elizabeth began her journey in the hair industry ten years ago at the Aveda Institute of Portland. From there she spent her years building up experience working at high end Aveda salons and continuing education with advanced stylists from Aveda and Goldwell. During that time, she also found that she is well versed in the longer hairstyles, she has a special love for curly texture/wavy hair and short, stylish cuts. She is a fashion forward artist that is experienced with hair color, extensions, and Keratin Smoothing Treatments.
We know you are going to love Elizabeth. She is a passionate designer who loves making you look and feel your best and cares first for quality over quantity. In her spare time, she enjoys quality time with her husband and dog Murphy, and hiking like a true PNW girl! She also enjoys cooking and has a spirit for travel and adventure.

MEET ALISA
ADVANCED DESIGNER
Alisa is our Advanced Designer and has been with us since November 2022. Alisa specializes in Goldwell
Kerasilk smoothing treatments, curly cuts, lived in blondes, and fun edgy vivid colors. Alisa not only brings
to Halo Designs her passion forhair ,but nearly a decade of experience ! Graduating in 2017, she
immediately went to work behind the chair, continuing her love forkeeping up with the newest hair trends. If
your style can be described as "effortlessly cool", Alisa is your girl. Between cutting all kinds of hair styles,
doing Bridal updos, highlighting and coloring hair Alisa can be found simultaneously mumming hard, and
exploring the PNW.
MEET ASHLEY
DESIGNER
Ashley is the newest powerhouse of talent to join our amazing team of stylists here at Halo Designs! Originally from California, she has fully embraced the PNW. She loves finding all the hidden gems our area has to offer, and spending time with her 3 fur pups. She adds another 6 years of experience to our team, and strives to always be learning, believing that "the day you quit learning new things is the day you should quit".
Ashley was drawn to the beauty industry from childhood, and is always looking to express her creativity. Loves to work with blonde hair, balayage, long layering, short cuts (including men), fashion colors and creating the perfect look for individuals face shape and lifestyle
