Artistic Director
Charlene
Salon Owner Charlene Bancel brings education and inspiration from around the world to Halo Designs. She travels to receive advanced education at top schools such as Vidal Sassoon, Bumble & Bumble, Tony & Guy, Goldwell, and Redken 5th Ave. She has received private hands on training from world renowned educators DJ Muldoon and Rebecca Taylor as well as advanced classes with Oribe and R+Co.
During her career she has worked educating hairdressers in and around the Northwest, and has gone on to win national recognition and contests with her work as a session stylist.
Charlene is a Vancouver Native and has worked as a hairdresser for almost 30 years. Her meticulous attention to detail is complemented by her cutting edge creativity which perpetually refreshes and inspires her clientele and staff. A modern-day superwoman, Charlene takes care of her staff, family, and clients exceptionally while still finding time for artistic regeneration, innovation and advancement.

Meghan
With over 4 years experience in the hair industry, Meghan has turned her passion for creativity into a thriving career.
Meghan finds joy in bringing her clients visions to life, particularly through her favorite services: blonding, vivids, and razor haircuts. Meghan is dedicated to making hair styling as effortless as possible, ensuring each client leaves feeling confident and beautiful.
When she's not working, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dog Remi, a pointer mix, and hitting the gym. A big Taylor Swift fan, she also loves tackling legos and puzzles in her free time, reflecting her playful spirit and attention to detail.
